The Business Uncle Process

The Business Uncle Studio process is designed to move ideas from early thinking to practical action in a clear sequence. Clients can complete all four stages as a full journey, or choose only the stage that matches their current needs.

First Conversation

We start with a short conversation to understand where you are and what you want to achieve. This is not an assessment or a pitch; it is simply a chance to explain your idea or organization in your own words.

Structured Work

The work follows a clear structure of meetings, guided tasks and focused writing. Each stage has defined activities and timelines so you know what will happen and what is expected from you.

Outputs

Every stage ends with written documents that you can immediately use in the real world. These outputs are prepared for funding applications, partner conversations, internal planning & decision-making.

Ways To Participate

The program is delivered through two connected formats, and every participant takes part in both. The individual sessions focus on your specific business, while the small circles provide shared learning and support from others on a similar journey.

One-on-One Sessions

These sessions focus entirely on your organization or idea. We work through your documents, challenges and decisions in detail, moving stage by stage through the program. This is where research is interpreted for your context, strategies are shaped around your realities, and implementation plans are built around your resources and time.

Small Studio Circles

The circles bring participants together to learn alongside one another. These sessions are used to share progress, discuss practical challenges and explore topics that apply to everyone, such as revenue thinking, pricing, partnerships and funding readiness. Hearing how others approach similar issues often helps participants see their own businesses more clearly.

How They Work Together

The one-on-one sessions ensure that your work remains personal and practical, while the circles create a supportive community and a broader perspective. Participants move between these two spaces throughout the program, applying what is discussed in the circles to their own projects and bringing real questions from their businesses into the group.
